⚠️ OFFICIAL PRODUCT CARE & SAFETY GUIDE
Purely Leslye Tallow Co. | Elizabeth, NJ
1. SKIN SENSITIVITY & SAFETY
- The 24-Hour Patch Test: Before full application, apply a pea-sized amount to the inner wrist. Wait 24 hours. If redness or irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
- Essential Oil Potency: This product contains therapeutic-grade essential oils. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Medical Consultation: If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a chronic skin condition, consult a physician before use.
2. TATTOO AFTERCARE PROTOCOL
- Sanitation is Vital: Only apply to new tattoos with freshly washed, dry hands or a sanitized cosmetic spatula.
- Breathability: Apply a very thin layer. Over-application can "suffocate" the tattoo and hinder healing.
- Open Wounds: Do not apply to tattoos that are weeping, blistered, or showing signs of infection (excessive heat, pus, or spreading redness).
3. TEMPERATURE & STABILITY
- The Melt Warning: Our tallow is air-whipped and contains no synthetic stabilizers. It will melt if exposed to temperatures above 80°F.
- The Fix: If melting occurs during shipping or storage, place the jar in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. It will remain a healing balm, though the "fluffiness" may decrease.
- Oxidization: Keep the lid tightly sealed and store in a cool, dark place to maintain the integrity of the natural vitamins.
4. CONTAMINATION PREVENTION
- Keep it Dry: This is a preservative-free, anhydrous (waterless) product. Do not allow water to enter the jar. Water introduced by wet hands can lead to mold and bacterial growth.
- Shelf Life: For maximum potency and freshness, use within 6 months of opening.
5. PHYSICAL SAFETY
- ⚠️ SLIP HAZARD: Tallow is a rich lipid. After applying to feet, use extreme caution on tile, wood, or laminate floors. Wait for full absorption or wear socks to avoid slipping.
